Guess what? Our bathroom is remodeled!
I lied a little during my "bathroom subway art" post. The bathroom was actually functional by then, but not completely done with finishing touches. When I scheduled the post, a month earlier, we had not heard from the contractor.

Replaced flooring plywood, installed tub, built wall
Removed vanity, installed new water supply lines for toilet
Installed walls of shower and water lines
Tile backer-board installed
Tile set in morter with spacers
