Close to My Heart Products Used: 
The My Acrylix Hot Diggity stamp set is another one of my favorites from the Summer 2010 Idea Book. It has several cute little animals on it, but the tweet bird is by far my favorite. Check out page 13 of the Idea Book for the flower folding technique. I have both of these cards available in kits that you can put together yourself. You can get these by attending one of my crops or purchasing it for $1. I have a few left, and you will need the stamp set and stamp pads to complete the cards as they are pictured. 
I like the My Acrylix You're Sweet stamp set because it is cute and simple and can be used for so many things. I was inspired by Melanie at Courtney Lane Designs with the pear card she made, and decided to make one. After making the pear card, I just kept going and made one with many of the different fruits on the stamp set. The patterned paper I used was all scrap paper! I am very pleased with how they turned out. 
Close to My Heart Products Used: 
The You Rock Paper was a bit of a challenge for me. I decided that it was perfect for concert photos and the paper really grew on me. It would be great for teenage boys, science fairs, concerts, and more.
I always enjoy the Creative Basics Collection every catalog because of it's price point. You get 12 sheets of double sided patterned paper (6 each of 2 designs) and a 4 yard spool of matching ribbon all for only $7.95. The Cherry-O Creative Basics Collection also has a little masculine touch.
My Acrylix Tasty Treats is absolutely my favorite new stamp set from the Summer 2010 Idea Book. I especially like the frames and variety of applications this stamp set can be used for. I learned how to make a wall hanging out of an embroidery hoop and scrapbooking paper at the Memories Scrapbooking Expo in Columbus earlier this year, and when I saw this stamp set, I knew it was the perfect application. While the embroidery hoop project looks complicated and time-consuming, it is actually very quick and easy! If you are interested, contact me and I would love to teach you how to make it!
